This is one of the ways that the Nurturing Childhoods Accreditation is different to any other Accreditation you may have experienced before. 

Rather than being a set of arbitrary judgements that you spend hours writing evidence for, the Nurturing Childhoods Accreditation is rooted in developing your nurturing practice. 

Allowing you to develop the knowledge and understanding of your team, put into practice the changes that will benefit your children and gain recognition for the great work you are already doing.

All the course materials are available online and via an app so that they can be accessed across all your devices.  This also means that you don't need to schedule training sessions, arrange for cover or even organise time in the office away from the children.

For a more personal touch, you can even attend monthly virtual meet ups where you can swap stories, gain tips and ask for advice. 

Download the app onto any of your mobile or desk top devices and access on your mobile, tablet or computer. 

Every member of your team can have access to the training sessions, training materials and reflection prompts, ready to use as and when you need. 

As a team you will then develop your own Action Plans, taking into account the areas of interest and development needs of your team.

This ensures that ownership of the process stays with you and is rooted in the areas you need to develop. 

No, when it comes to the Nurturing Childhoods Accreditation journey, you have a couple of options.

You can either sign up for your TWELVE months of setting wide professional development and proceed alone.

Alternatively, you can add on a years access to the Nurturing Childhoods Community where you will gain access to lots of supplementary materials.  You can join in with focused community groups where you can share great ideas and brainstorm issues.  And you will be invited to join in with monthly virtual Meet Ups for even more support and guidance.

Like anything in life, you will get out of the Accreditation what you put into it. While we do offer all the support and guidance you need, the benefits you will gain will depend on you. 

That said, this is the only Accreditation that allows you to focus those efforts where you need them the most.
